Today Is Sibling's Day

Went with my sis to catch MI3 today. Well.. It is a rather nice flick. The only thing is that Ethan Hunt's wife is only half as hot as Maggie Q, who happens to be a "side-kick". After the movie, we went for buffet at Sakae Sushi. Ha.. Somebody please kill me right now. My stomach is exploding with all the sashimi inside!

Btw, while walking around in Orchard, we came across this guy who happened to be wearing the same board-short as I did. On top of that, he chose to wear a red polo tee to go along with it. I was wearing the same. haha.. I think tt guy has got great taste!

Anyway, Sibling's Day came about when my sis crapped to her colleagues when they asked her what she would be doing today (she took leave) and they believed her that there is such a day in the calendar. Come to think about it, why isn't there a day to commemorate all that your siblings have done or even for being a part of your life? We have Mother's Day, Father's Day and even Friendship Day but there doesn't seem to be an international Sibling's Day....

Oh... I went back to SCSS with Sharon yesterday to meet Jason Lim. Frankly, the school has transformed. There is even a security office to check on people visiting the school. Not only that. To see Jason Lim, we had to go through the receptionist who told us, "Are you sure he wants to see you?" My thoughts, "Bloody Shit." Obviously, I didn't say that lah...

As usual, the conversation with Jason Lim evolved into a "teaching session" as I named it. It was teaching about choices and life though. He advocated that it all depends on what you want in life. Ha.. I was not as affected by his opinions now as I would have been in the past. I guess I have became more of a pragmatic person. Interest are for the rich or maybe people with a certain comfortable standard of living. In short, interest cannot be your bread. I suppose I am following the Singaporean Dream - to satisfy your material wants or as Jason Lim put it, "prosperity and progress".
