I was on the bus to Clark Quay earlier and it came to me that I don't exactly like most of the buildings in Singapore. Well.. I don't exactly hate them either but that's where the problem lies. The buildings here do not 'speak' a common theme if u get what I mean. Take a look at the HDB flats around. Within the same district, we have many different colours and designs (as to where the balconies are and stuffs). Take a walk down Orchard road and you'll see the same phenomenon for the various shopping centres. To make it worse, they are no building a condominium in the middle of orchard road!
In a way, I grew fond of clusters of shophouses and the CBD (the older part of it) because of the buildings speaking one theme in each area. I dunno how to put it into words but I hope u guys understand what I'm hitting at. ha~
On a separate note, spent an evening with Joel, Jie Hui, Kevin, Felyna and Jin Rui in Settlers Cafe. It was an event thingy organised by Joel's cell group. Ha.. I have to give it to Joel that as promised, there wasn't any preaching session involved. It was a fun filled night and we became members of Settlers Cafe through sheer luck. (We won a mini competition)
I have also grew kinda fond of such kind of photograps(if u see what I mean):
