A lot of life's lessons that we learn when we were young, turn out to be false or not as perfect as they seem. The simple world of black vs white or good vs evil, has been marred by reality. I used to dislike somebody for the things that he did but as the days past I have to dislike him less for all that he has done despite the wrong he did. The world is now gray.

The over-used motto of 'doing what your heart desires' (or along this line) is pretty much screwed by itself. Just how many of us are trapped in the system of education in Singapore and how many of us are worried about our prospects after taking a course we desire? What if we do not desire to study in the first place?

Furthermore, how about the simple words of wisdom about how you need to love what you do to succeed in it? I have learnt (in the army) that with the right attitude, success is possible. Right attitude can be bred.

Lastly, we have all been deceived! Remember that we were told that JC will be fun when we were in Secondary sch? And how Uni will be a breeze when we were slaving our lives away for A levels? These are all lies!!! Created in an attempt to give us motivation to climb the education ladder!

But oh well... Life is still beautiful...
