We usually bad-mouth them but have we ever thought about what they have to go through to get to Singapore to study? With all the money their parents have to pay for them to get here, they don't really have that much of a choice but to study hard. Then have we ever thought that our counter-parts who are studying overseas, are actually like them? So how different can we be? How high and mighty can we be that we can condemn them for everything? We cannot be prejudiced towards them just because of a few who totally suck.

On a separate note, love is over-rated. It is a feeling that rushes over you when you meet somebody you are interested in and may possibly like. You may think about him/her all the time but do you actually need him/her to live? No.

In addition, all those crap of 'loving somebody is for him/her to be happy' is simply an act of making yourself feel noble.

I have to bitch. I do not enjoy clubbing and there isn't a last bus to my place (I have to walk all the way from a tram station to my place, which is about 15 mins walk). However, just for a group activity, I agreed to go. Of course, the 'organiser' did make some noise before i agreed. The irritating part comes in when the 'organiser' came late and made a din about how 'dangerous' it is for him to walk home alone if he misses his last bus at 1130. the time was already 1030. To speak the truth,I almost have enough of his whining every time we walk and view the sceneries around. I'm pissed that we missed a few sights because of his constant whining. bloody hell. Ha. this is just a bitching session to release some fume.

By the way, is that Scarlett Johansson in Justin Timberlake's video - What goes around? OMG!!! Pls don't sleep with him!!!

According to XXX (Shall not name him here though I guess he probably doesn't care), the Asian male is disadvantaged. It is generally a desire of an Asian guy to have sex with a Caucasian girl. However, a Caucasian gal will not want an Asian guy because his penis is too small for them. On the other hand, in the case of a Caucasian guy wanting to be with an Asian gal, he will probably get them. I shall not state what should be obvious here. (Again, penis issue.) I just thought that it is pretty crude to develop such a theory from sex.

Ha.. Contrary to my previous post, I miss u guys already! lol.. A lack of technology is nice for short periods of times, once in a while but communication is essential for us now. We need one another! lol. I have uploaded some photos from Lyon (I'm in Grenoble but went to Lyon last weekend). The main site is basically Vieux Lyon. We did not make it to the countryside though cuz we were told that it cost 60 euros by the hotel admin. However, zhen yi only told me later that we could take a bus for 4 euros. sigh.. I have been having minimal connections with the world over this few days. Not much use of the internet as 1) I feel bad to keep using my host's pc, 2) I'm lazy to carry my lappie to sch to use the wifi tt is limited to a room there. Then smses need not be replied as the bills will be too high n ppl probably won't sms me after they knws tt i'm away from sg. Overall, it just feels nice to be un-reachable. Yet, it sux when u need to meet up with ppl and there is no way of communicating with them.

Anyway, i got my lappie connected to the internet in sch alr (we need a prog to do so). shall upload some photos i hope.

PS: the china-guys here are damn horny.

Ha.. Forget it. I am not going to embarrass myself by typing in French now. Today marks day 2 in Grenoble while day 3 in France. The group of us clocked a total to 14 hours on the planes and 2 hours transit in Dubai. The seat arrangement was horrible as we were all arranged to sit along the aisle. It was due to a simple comment that I made while purchasing the tickets and the stupid lady for misinterpreting. The line is, ‘Eh.. I got weak bladder leh. I need to sit by the aisle hor…’ Tada

First day in France was spent in Paris where we stayed in Hotel de la Port Doree. It was pretty disappointing as most of the gang was shagged out and we didn’t go to Eifel Tower as discussed during the plane ride. Furthermore, the experience of stepping out of a supermarket to almost step onto a big pill of dog shit is extremely traumatizing. I am beginning to like cats more than dogs already! In addition, the amount of hassle involved in navigating the train system WITH thy luggage is tiring too. Still, I love the weather, the architecture of the buildings and oh well.. maybe the feeling of just being in a different place.

We took a train to Grenoble on the 2nd day after we met Peixin, who was with her parents. I have always worried about the fact that I am in fact a very different person when with friends and with family. It struck me to be pretty normal when I saw Peixin’s already-shy-level increase when she was with her parents. Anyway, I met my host, Daniele Garet. The failure of communication was expected but still hard to bear. She does not know how to speak much anglais. Some time after I deposited my luggage at the house, we went back to the station to pick Peng Zhi up. We are staying with the same host family but we get our own rooms. Ha..

Day 3 has been spent in CUEF and around the central district in Grenoble. Nothing much, some sight-seeing and that’s all. By the way, my host is unable to allow me to use the wifi via my laptop. Thus I have to use their computer. As such, I am unable to blog a lot I guess and also won’t upload much photos. By the way, the keyboards used by French are different. Some letters and signs are positioned differently. Shall show u guys the pic of it some time.

Ok. Now for the slightly more juicy but disappointing news. My host’s daughter is away on a chalet of sort for 6 days. I have not seen her nor her photos yet, so I have no idea if she is hot. And no, I have not picked up any hot French babes though the gang did identify my ‘type’. Lastly, I also realized that I am so not a breast person.

I thought it is pretty stupid to travel all the way from the west to Changi Airport to bid farewell to a friend who will only be gone for a short period of 1 month. Maybe I am just a wee bit unromantic or watsoever but there just isn't much point except to maybe make the person leaving feel a little better from not having to leave the airport alone. Still, the stupidity of it and the selfishness of it do no9t justify the action in some sense. There are so many days to meet before and so many chances to say goodbye before the departure. So why make everybody go down when u will only be gone for a month. Ha.... How unfeeling can I get?
